My Story
Mikhail Ilyasov is a licensed clinician, an academic, and a lifelong learner on a mission to help people move better, feel stronger, and live fuller lives. Whether he’s guiding a patient through post-op rehab or teaching future therapists in a Anatomy/cadaver lab, he brings the same drive, real results, grounded in real science.

With a Bachelor's in Psychology, Master’s in Occupational Therapy, and a Ph.D. in Leadership focused on Health Science, Mikhail blends clinical precision with a deep understanding of the human anatomy. His specialties include hand therapy, orthopedic after care, neurorehab, and complex post-surgical recovery. He is currently aspiring to obtain his Certification in Hand Therapy and taking continuing education courses on perfecting his ability for form custom made splints.
When he’s not in the clinic, Mikhail’s shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. He teaches at York College, Hofstra University, and the Medical University of South Carolina, covering everything from Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology, hands-on cadaver-based learning, Theoretical methods, modalities, and more.

Patients trust him not just for his expertise, but for his energy calm, focus, and genuinely invested in their story and recovery. He knows healing isn’t just physical; it’s mental, emotional, and personal.
Outside of work, Mikhail recharges through hiking, travel, and seeking out new ways to explore the connection between movement and mindset. Every trail, every culture, every experience adds depth to how he approaches care.
