My Story
Yuiry is a seasoned physical therapist with nearly a decade of clinical experience, known for his hands-on approach and deep commitment to patient centered care. He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University (LIU) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in Hunter College, giving him a well rounded perspective on how the mind and body work together in the healing process.

Throughout his career, Yuriy has delivered care across a diverse range of settings, including acute care and inpatient rehab at Methodist Hospital, as well as one-on-one in-home physical therapy. These experiences have sharpened his ability to tailor treatment to each patient’s environment and recovery goals, whether it’s post-surgical rehab, neurological recovery, or chronic pain management.

Yuriy’s approach is rooted in continuous learning and clinical excellence. He has completed specialized training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Functional Mobilization, and is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation, enabling him to help patients with dizziness, imbalance, and complex vestibular conditions. He also holds certification in Kinesiotherapy, emphasizing movement-based healing and functional restoration.
Patients value Yuriy not only for his technical skill, but also for his calm presence, clear communication, and relentless focus on outcomes that truly matter, regaining strength, restoring independence, and returning to the activities that bring joy and meaning.

Outside the clinic, Yuriy stays active through biking, hiking, and camping, and sharpens his mind with a good game of chess.
