Physical Therapy for

Knee Pain & Injuries

Healthy knees are essential for keeping us moving, whether it’s walking, climbing stairs, playing sports, or just getting out of bed. When injury or pain strikes, even simple activities can feel impossible. With customized treatment plans, we focus on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and preventing future issues.

Common Types of Knee Injuries
Knee injuries can vary widely, but some of the most common include:

The meniscus is a C-shape piece of cartilage that cushions your knee. A meniscus tear often occurs during twisting movements, sports, or sudden pivots, causing pain, swelling, and stiffness.

When the kneecap (patella) doesn't track properly over the femur, it creates pain in the front of the knee especially during stairs, squats, or prolonged sitting.

The ACL is one of the most commonly injured knee ligaments, especially in athletes. Tears usually occur with sudden stops nor direction changes, leading to instability, swelling, and difficulty walking.

Also called "soft knee," this condition involves cartilage breakdown under the kneecap, leading to pain when bending the knee. It's common in active adults and teens.

A condition affecting adolescents during growth spurts, Osgood-Schlatter causes pain and swelling just below the kneecap where the tendon attaches to the shin.

In the joint condition, a small piece of bone and cartilage loosens inside the knee, causing pain, swelling, or joint locking.
